Tell us a little about your business.

Our firm was founded in 1914.  We are one of the oldest continuously operating businesses in town.   We have 8 attorneys and the highest ratings for legal skill and ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell and Best Lawyers.   We have a broad civil litigation and transactions practice.   We have the experience and horsepower to handle most complex legal matters.  We also have relationships with larger firms in the cities if we need to associate other counsel with specialized expertise.

What is something people DON’T know about your business, or what is a common misconception you see about your business?

There is no need to go to St. Louis or Memphis for high quality legal services.  Our lawyers were top students in law school and journal editors.   Five of our attorneys were judicial clerks in state and federal courts.  We have decades of experience and have represented clients in the most complex and largest legal disputes and transactions in this area.

What is your favorite thing about doing business in the Sikeston region?

We have the good fortune to have clients who are really good people.  We enjoy working with the other members of the legal community and judges to resolve disputes and help move our region forward.  Southeast Missouri juries really try to reach the right results when they decide cases.

How is being involved Chamber member helpful in your line of work?

Our practice often involves representing small and medium sized companies many of whom are chamber members.

What is the best way for a potential customer to reach out?

We have the easiest phone number in town, 471.1000.

Thank you for your support of the Sikeston Regional Chamber!
