We're taking a look back on the 2023 Annual Awards Banquet! This special evening focused on the outstanding achievements of so many deserving award recipients. We are so inspired by their efforts that all factor into making Sikeston an amazing place to live and work. Each award was not just a recognition of accomplishment, but a nod to the kind of dedication and hard work that propels our community forward.

Lifetime Achievement Award Winner,  Alan Keenan, and his family, who he credited in his acceptance speech as his biggest achievement in life.



Citizen of the Year, Shannon Holifield poses with family. She ignited the crowd with her strong sense of community and Bulldog Pride!


 
Business of the Year, Go SEMO Fiber and Small Business of the Year, Sterling Pharmacy were honored for their excellence within our business community



Katie Merideth, the 2023 Emerging Leader was recognized for her many contributions to the community, most recently in working hard in workforce development. 


A unique moment for the banquet, brothers received two of the awards! Jeremiah Quick (left) was awarded Jaycee Distinguished Service Award and Ben Quick won Law Enforcement Officer of the year.


The Chamber was so proud to honor this dedicated member, Betsy McConnell, as the 2023 Chamber Volunteer of the Year!

 
Several volunteers of the group, Hope 180, gathered as they were recognized as the Civic Group of the Year for their commitment to changing the lives of local youth.


 
Renee Asher, the 2023 Educator of the Year, was selected by her peers for going above and beyond for her students and fellow co-workers.

The SRC is so proud of this group and we hope that their well-deserved success continues to inspire others!
