The Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting is an annual event with a very large tree lighting that is fun for the whole family. Tree lighting is at 6PM. Events include Santa’s Mailbox, candy cane hunts, wagon rides, live Christmas music and carolers, food trucks, Santa's Village and pictures with Santa Claus. Downtown shops will also hold special sales this evening. Area businesses, civic organizations, and even individuals decorate and compete for prizes during the 3rd Annual Dashing Through Downtown Parade of Lights! The parade begins at 7PM. Bring the whole family and celebrate Christmas in Historic Downtown Sikeston.
